Mid-Level QA Engineer
Job Description
•Analyze product requirements and user stories.
•Design and execute test cases for new features and system changes.
•Perform functional, integration, and exploratory testing.
•Develop and maintain automated tests for key user workflows.
•Help improve automated test coverage for critical modules.
•Integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle where possible.
•Maintain regression test suites to ensure platform stability.
•Execute regression tests before scheduled releases.
•Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
•Work closely with developers to validate fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved.
•Suggest improvements to testing strategies and workflows.
•Contribute to building a more robust QA process across the engineering team.
Required Skills
•Experience testing web-based applications.
•Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
•Ability to design test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
•Experience with API testing.
•Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
•Familiarity with Agile development workflows.
•Experience with test automation frameworks such as:
-Playwright
-Cypress
-Selenium
-or similar tools
Nice to Have:
•Experience testing SaaS platforms or marketplaces.
•Experience testing learning platforms (LMS).
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
